James P. Kimball
AssociateJay Kimball was admitted to the bar in the State of New Jersey in 1992. He is an accomplished trial attorney having personally been certified as a criminal and civil trial attorney. He has personally tried over eight-five (85) civil and criminal matters to a jury verdict in the Superior Court of New Jersey. He handles cases in the State and Federal Courts of New Jersey, as well as matters before municipal boards and governing bodies through the State.
Jay is the attorney for the Zoning Board of Adjustment of the Borough of Wood-Ridge. Jay is also a panel member attorney pursuant to the Criminal Justice Act for representing criminal defendants in the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey. He is a former Councilman and Planning Board member of the Borough of Montvale.
Jay is also a former Assistant Bergen County Prosecutor (1992-1999). He was entrusted with the handling of hundreds of criminal prosecutions for all types of matters, including white collar offenses, narcotics, robbery, sexual assault and murder. He tried over sixty (60) matters to a jury verdict.
Jay received his Bachelor of Arts degree from The Ohio State University in 1989. He received his Juris Doctor from Seton Hall University School of Law in 1992. He is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association and the Bergen County Bar Association.
Jay will be concentrating on matters involving serious personal injury, work-related injury claims, State and Federal criminal matters, land use applications and general litigation.
